Happy Birthday Aunt Jessie from myself, Robert, Thierry, and Claire. We are so thankful to have you in our lives and appreciate your persistence in bringing Mark and I into the family. You are our window into the side of the family that we did not grow up with and have helped us to understand how our mother grew up. Growing up the only part of being Haitian that I knew about was where my name came from and you have shed some light on that part of me. On a lighter note you give me credibility with Robert’s family since I am still a work in progress with speaking Creole. We love you Aunt Jessie and hope you enjoy your day I am glad we got a chance to see you over Thanksgiving.
